To (mis)quote the old song, Marsha knew you were coming so she baked a cake. Well, actually she would have baked the cake anyway – she regards cake baking as a relaxing way of making edible art. As our Marketing Manager/ Communication Specialist, Marsha knew you were coming… to the site, that is – it's her goal to make Lock more searchable and put exceptional clients and candidates together. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph specializing in Marketing Management and with an Event Management Designation from Ryerson University, Marsha has managed projects using TV, print, social media and the web and has executed events for 50 to 60,000 people. On top of all the cake baking, she is an enthusiastic dancer and Zumba instructor which allows her to shake the cake from her hips and maintain her fitness goals. Her main goal however has already been realized by having you check out Lock in your quest for an exceptional career.
What do you need to know about Jordan ‘Da Concierge’ Vukanovich? First question you might ask is, why do we call him ‘Da Concierge’? His answer? “No one calls me that.” OK, maybe not but, it’s a great nickname – it suits his personality – outgoing, friendly, social and always trying to help. Also, he lives in a condo in downtown Toronto that contains 3 bars and 3 restaurants – clearly this guy knows the score. It also works with his role here at Lock – as a Recruiter in our B2B practice area. With extensive experience in clothing sales in Canada and the US at Joe Rocket; Client Center Selling at Xerox (“How about you guys call me ‘Bloody Knuckles’? From all the cold calling I did?” Our response, Euw.), and as a National Account Executive at Purolator where he managed the automotive vertical accounts, Jordan brings a wealth of experience to the job and can help direct you to your best possible match. (“How about ‘MC’? I have a photographic memory for hip hop lyrics and a deep music collection.” Yeah, no.). We also suggested “Fats” as a nickname, given his remarkable piano playing skills. That didn’t go over well, at all. What else do you need to know? Jordan holds a degree in Science from the University of Windsor and, most importantly for your needs, is his credo: Stick to the plan and never give up. So, we’re still working on the nickname but we think he’s going to go for ‘Da Concierge’ when he sees the cool uniform we’ve picked out; it has epaulettes and everything.
