Position: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Head of Digital Transformation

About the Role:
Our client, a Private Equity Tech firm seeks an innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead digital transformation and e-commerce initiatives within the North American manufacturing and distribution portfolio. This role requires a strategic visionary who can drive digital innovation, enhance e-commerce capabilities, and elevate the customer experience using advanced technology and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead digital and e-commerce strategies within the manufacturing and distribution sectors across North America.
- Integrate advanced technologies and optimize systems to elevate e-commerce platforms and provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Leverage real-time data and AI/machine learning to monitor market trends, inform strategic decisions, and strengthen the company’s competitive position.
- Utilize platforms such as Gorgias, Tidio, and Zendesk to improve customer service, predict trends, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at major retail partners, including Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Costco, and others.
- Lead initiatives that use data analytics to inform strategic choices and drive revenue growth.
- Align digital transformation goals with the objectives of Private Equity stakeholders.
Qualifications/Must Haves:
- Proven track record of digital innovation and e-commerce success within the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI and machine learning with recent accomplishments that highlight these capabilities.
- Strong experience with platforms such as Gorgias, Tidio, and Zendesk.
- Established relationships with decision-makers at Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Costco, and similar retail partners.
- Recent success in using data and technology to monitor market trends and drive business strategies.
- Experience working in a Private Equity environment.
- Toronto-based, with ability to work on-site as required.
