Having as main goal to give customers access to the widest selection of stainless and other corrosion resistant fasteners, the company takes pride in supplying stainless and other corrosion resistant fasteners from the smallest to the largest, shortest to the longest, with a very diversified variety. All these are made possible by one of its most notable hallmarks, the highly technical sales team, who provides exceptional customer service.
JOB SUMMARY
The company is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Business Development Manager to join its team. This individual will play an essential role in delivering our client’s experience by driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction within Ontario's fastener market. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with customers (existing and new) and identifying new sales opportunities, significantly impacting the company’s business's success. By utilizing his expertise and understanding of the fastener industry, the Business Development Manager will contribute to the organization’s growth trajectory.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets across Ontario.
- Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to achieve collective sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expanding market share.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the management team.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on product offerings and industry advancements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of outside sales experience, ideally within the fastener industry.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the fastener industry, with strong business development and account management skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of fastener products and applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel frequently within Ontario to meet clients and attend events.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and strong problem-solving skills.
