    Greater Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)

    Our client is an established national leader within the electrical sector. With continuous growth and expansion, they are looking to add a Technical Inside Sales Representative to their BC Sales team. This position will come with the flexibility of working a true hybrid model where you can work from home as well as in the office to support communication, culture and community.

    The key focus is a combination of account management, and new account acquisition. The successful candidate will prospect and generate new sales leads through cold and warm calling, as well, by continuing to maintain and support existing clients through on-going relationship management and follow up. With a strong attention to customer focused selling, the successful candidate will work to identify opportunities to promote company products and services as solutions for key customers and their projects in the industrial marketplace. You will also respond to customer inquiries, provide product information and quotes. Your dedication to courteous service and skill in generating new leads mean your current customers are satisfied and that there is a continuous pipeline of new business opportunities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contacting current and new customers on electrical projects supporting on a total value proposition
    • This role is 80% inside selling and support with 20% outside customer face time
    • Responding to customer inquiries via email, in-person, over the phone.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with clientele. Relationship management is key.
    • Business Development, and lead generation.
    • Experience working with, managing, and updating CRM software.
    • Providing technical support, knowledge, and training to customers
    • Continuously developing professionally to better understand market trends, the products and services offered, to ensure growth and sales performance.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience in electrical distribution sector is a definite asset – electrical product knowledge is a major plus
    • Experience in prospecting and closing from an inside position would be extremely valuable
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
    • Ability to follow a sales process – pipeline management
    • Highly motivated and team-focused
    • Excellent time management, organization, and analytical skills
    • Ability to build immediate rapport, and persuade customers is essential; with the goal of building long term relationships
    • Experience in developing and presenting quotations, packages, and pricing
    •  Home every night sales position – Monday to Friday
