    Our client is a regional manufacturing leader with a track record of profitable success, market growth and business innovation. Our client is looking for a dynamic professional to support their team, and historic growth as the Human Resources Manager. As a Human Resources Manager, you will be for capturing the full scope of HR responsibilities, including leading the selection process, onboarding and developing training programs, career development and succession planning, change management, policy creation, and corporate alignment strategy.

    Reporting directly to senior leadership the Human Resources Manager will drive and implement HR strategy to support organizational objectives and cultivate an engaged, high-performing workforce. This role encompasses managing key HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and training. The Human Resources Manager will partner with leadership to align HR practices with business goals, spearhead initiatives to strengthen company culture, and ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the VP of Human Resources on projects such as organizational restructuring and new system implementations.
    • Update and maintain policies and procedures to comply with legislation and industry best practices.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Coach and support leaders in building high-performance teams and addressing employment-related issues.
    • Identify leadership knowledge gaps and recommend suitable training and development programs.
    • Manage recruitment and selection processes by collaborating with the HR Coordinator and leaders to develop strategies, prepare interview materials, and oversee the selection process.
    • Conduct exit interviews with employees who voluntarily resign, addressing concerns and offering suggestions to leadership.
    • Assess employee satisfaction and engagement, recommending initiatives to improve the overall employee experience.
    • Design and deliver internal training programs on topics such as soft skills, leadership, and software applications.
    • Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding.
    • Develop and implement strategies for organizational success, including performance management, succession planning, development planning, and mentorship programs, ensuring alignment with business needs and timely execution.
    • Research compensation trends and market data to evaluate competitiveness, providing recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
    • Investigate workplace incidents, preparing detailed reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
    • Serve as the leadership liaison for the Social Committee, providing necessary support.
    • Analyze employment metrics and present findings to senior leadership.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferably with a focus in HR or Business
    • 5-7 years of experience in the Human Resources field
    • CPHR designation is an asset.
    • Comprehensive understanding of employment standards legislation.
    • Previous experience onboarding for new employees.
    • Proficient in HR systems, particularly ADP WFN, with strong reporting capabilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for coaching and influencing leadership.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
