Regional Enterprise Account Executive – Security Systems Integrator (Technical Sales)
Greater Vancouver, BC (Hybrid role – 2/3 days per week home-based)Our client, a leader in innovative security, access control, AV products, and system solutions for institutional, industrial, and commercial markets, is experiencing significant growth in Western Canada. To support this expansion, they are seeking an exceptional Enterprise Account Executive to join their team. They have retained Cameron Lappin of Lock Search Group to assist them in their search for this strategic hire.
This BC hybrid-home based Account Executive opportunity will emphasize a value-based, total cost of ownership sales approach. The main goal for this position will drive revenue growth across the territory by securing new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, industry networking, internal lead generation… targeting the institutional, health care, utilities and enterprise industries. The successful candidate will manage a balanced sales funnel, executing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing profitable deals. You will be responsible for strategically penetrate existing national accounts and deliver a solution-based approach. Effectively engage stakeholders at all levels within target organizations, from frontline teams to executive leadership.
This role comes with a healthy base salary…along wtih an uncapped quarterly commission structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by managing relationships with distribution partners, cultivating ‘End User’ clients, and securing new business opportunities across BC.
- Strategically penetrate existing national accounts and foster strategic alliances to expand business in software, industrial automation, and multiple sectors, including industrial, commercial, and institutional markets.
- Develop and execute regional supplier and growth plans while maintaining a balanced sales funnel, managing the full sales process from lead generation (cold calling, networking, referrals) to closing.
- Provide a solution-based sales approach, aligning with client needs across all organizational levels, from operational management to C-suite executives.
- Deliver training and education to distribution and ecosystem partners to ensure alignment with company objectives and strategies.
- Build strong client relationships through regular engagement, including travel within BC
Qualifications:
- Proven success in technical, solution-oriented sales, preferably in enterprise environments, with 3-5 years account executive experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience selling to large client, commercial clients, and enterprise-level accounts in Institutional, Health Care, Utilities, & Industrial markets.
- Familiarity with security, access control, electrical manufacturing, or automation systems is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in CRM and software platforms, with demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers at all organizational levels.
- Advanced sales, strategic selling, and account management skills, including uncovering effective customer solutions and conducting successful negotiations.
- Adaptable and proactive, showing initiative, responding effectively to change, and building consensus.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and competitiveness.
- Valid driver’s license is essential.
