    Are you passionate about craft beer and eager to make your mark in the beverage industry? We are seeking a dynamic and driven Territory Manager to join our client’s team cover their Vancouver Island portfolio. Jackson Stewart of Lock Search Group has been tasked with finding our clients next Territory Manager. If you thrive on building relationships, meeting sales targets, and spreading the love for exceptional craft beer, this role might be the perfect fit for you.

    Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager will involve establishing and upholding connections with current accounts, as well as seeking out new business opportunities on Vancouver Island. It is imperative to promote the growth in both volume and distribution, and to elevate the recognition and standing of our client’s brand among the desired consumers through retail and On-Premise channels. Your expertise in Sales, combined with your enthusiasm and understanding of craft beer, will empower you to cultivate strong bonds with colleagues, influencers, and industry associates within your designated territory.

    Responsibilities:

    •    Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to promote and distribute our range of craft beers within the designated Vancouver territory.
    •    Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, including bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and other relevant venues.
    •    Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence and increase sales.
    •    Collaborate with our marketing team to organize and participate in events, tastings, and promotions that elevate brand awareness.
    •    Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
    •    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to make informed business decisions.
    •    Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, keeping management informed about territory performance.
     
    Qualifications:

    •    Proven experience in sales, preferably within the beverage industry (prefer Craft Beer segment), with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    •    Passion for and knowledge of craft beer, including an understanding of brewing processes and different beer styles.
    •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
    •    Local travel is required throughout the assigned territory
    •    Strong organizational skills to manage time, territory, and resources efficiently.
    •    Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
    •    Valid BC driver's license.
