Account Manager

Position Overview:
As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of accounts within the Southwestern Ontario territory, focusing on both maintaining market share and developing new business. This role requires a proactive approach to client acquisition, offering solutions that align with customers' needs while ensuring long-term success. Regular in-office presence is expected for meetings and administrative duties, in addition to frequent travel within your territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and manage a portfolio of accounts in the Southwestern Ontario territory through direct sales calls and lead generation.
- Develop new business through cold calling, product promotion, and follow-up efforts.
- Collaborate with supplier partners to offer tailored solutions and cost savings.
- Present proposals and reports effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Communicate with internal teams and management regularly via CRM, email, and phone.
- Support corporate strategies and participate in sales meetings and events.
Required Skills:
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and customer service skills.
- Proven sales ability, with an understanding of solution-based selling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel within Southwestern Ontario and attend occasional after-hours events.
